A few things

 Good news (if you missed it): Huzzah was adopted on Wednesday. Her new mom is in her early 20s and a first time cat owner, but Huzzah is a good fit. Mom got a text that the first night she was on a smaller room. Next morning she decided enough of that and slipped out into the house when the door opened. 

The Texas kittens were spayed and neutered on Friday. Sunday they got their microchips and are now at the adoption center ready to go home.

And....Hibiscus, Lantana and Verbena all got adopted!

The muffin kittens have a new version of baby jail in the living room. They have more room to bounce around. They can't get out (yet) though the girls can get in to check the food bowls for leftovers.

So baby jail 2.0 lasted about 4 hours before Cranberry realized he could climb over. We have moved on to baby jail 3.0. Mom has to clean the foster room and them they will go in there, though still in the crate for another week.

 Gone is the goal. But wow it's quiet.

Yippee was adopted on Wednesday and went home with another kitten. 

Hurray went home on Friday. No other cats but mom had a long conversation with her new dad about giving her time to adjust. Hurray was the kitten mom worried about most since she is black and a little shy. Well they sent an update and she is doing great playing with the toys and the kids. 

Yahoo is up at the adoption center in the kitten room. He hasn't charmed anyone yet but no doubt he will soon.

Huzzah is also at the adoption center. She work up Saturday morning howling in protest. Mom took her to the center and kind of crossed her fingers. Huzzah is now sporting a hot pink collar. She came right out of the carrier and walked around tail up checking out the whole place. She did hiss at a couple of cats but was otherwise fine. 

weekend report

 Good news: Napa and Savoy got ADOPTED together!!! The family has 3 kids and actually saw them online. Mom talked to them about giving the boys time to adjust and thinks this is a great match.

 Mom also rearranged some of the cat furniture in the living room. The cat ladder is now centered on one window (it was previously centered on both windows which meant it ran along the center line on the windows). This gives the girls a clearer view outside. Mom bought another tall scratcher too.

 

The capital kittens are doing well. They are goofy and active. Surgery is scheduled for Friday. We knew they were short term fosters but they've been fun. Juneau and Columbia are super friendly and outgoing. Bismarck and Albany are a little more cautious but warm up after a few minutes. They've been a fun group.
