OK....it was yesterday. Mom got sidetracked. It happens.
Anyhow, happy 6th Birthday to our resident strange tuxedo girl (and her sister Cupcake who lives with our friend Miss Julie).
A friend was over the other evenjng and managed to get pictures of Chanel on the cat ladder in her favorite positions. Mom hasn't been successful since Chanel moves if mom gets close.
Everyone here has a spot or two they lay claim to during the day.
Ivy can generally be found under the side table by one of the floor vents. After watching her do this consistantly for a while, mom put a bed under there for her.
Junior likes this bed between the sofa and the coffee table. He can sometimes be found in one of the cat tree cubbies, but this seems to be his spot for now.
Daiquiri will sometimes sleep in the living room but can most often be found on the bed.
Chanel has claimed the taco truck. Either or it or in it, that seems to be her spot. She will occasionally sleep under mom's desk but not often since mom moves around a lot.
Goldfish can either be found on one particular level of the cat ladder or in the round Sleepypod.
Stripes went back to the shelter on Minday and was adopted Monday night. We wish her and her new family lots of love.
Yeti is being adopted this afternoon. Hard to believe he was with us just over 2 weeks but his new mom is going to be very lucky to get such a great kitten.
No idea when we will get more kittens but with the weirdly mild winter here we suspect it won't be long.
Yeti was neutered on Monday and is up on the website ready to go. Mom isn't sure what sort of drugs he got though cause he came back and he was wound up. All over the place all night. So of course he slept most of Tuesday morning waking up mostly to yell at mom that the food dish was empty. He is going to give his forever family a run for their money.
Stripes is back for another week too. She had a fever and is on meds. Not that she acts sick or anything.
Mom was planning to keep them separate but Yeti is fast and got in the foster room over the weekend. So slow introductions over a couple of days and she was out all day Tuesday. They don't really play together or snuggle. They will chase each other occasionally but they are pretty independent. Stripes does seem very chatty though...she has a cute chirp she does all the time, even when running.
Stripes goes back to the shelter on Monday. Yeti will go to the partner store this week. Then just clean the foster room and wait to reload. (Mom is hoping for little ones)
