Exciting Mike news

 MIKE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!!

A nice young couple saw her online and cane to meet her. Of course they were totally charmed by her and once they settled in their new place, mom and Miss Heather delivered Mike to get new home. All one level and small enough to give her space to explore but not get into trouble. 

Mike is truly the example of never giving up. Mom knew there was a family out there that was a fit for Mike. And it may have taken a while, but it happened. Mom and Miss Heather are sad she isn't here but so excited she has her own family. 

Congrats Mike and your new mom and dad!!

Tiffany the kitten

 Tiffany is not the bravest. The boys come right over to mom for attention but Tiffany was always been reluctant and mom would have to catch her for everything. 

So on Sunday mom turned Tiffany into a purrito.

At first Tiffany was NOT impressed. However, she finally relaxed. And the she sighed. And then she purred. 

She still needs a few days but it was a big break through.

Kitten update

 They are all doing well. Meds are over and their colds are gone. The boys are super friendly and seek out attention. Tiffany is not so convinced.

Mom broke out the squeeze ups though. Norman loves them and would have eaten the wrapper on Sunday. So yesterday mom put some on a plate. Then she can pet Tiffany and make a positive association. Norman had to be picked up to keep him from eating all of it. 

Turnover

 Good news - Ash went back to the shelter on Tuesday and was ADOPTED that evening!!

The shelter had 2 groups of cats and kittens that were left at their doors. Some of the kittens have colds and need to be on medication. Since Ash was ready, he went back and three new kittens came here. They are about 6 weeks old.

We don't get to name our kittens with this organization. But these aren't too bad. Haha

The kittens are on a couple of different meds and right now think mom is evil since she has to give them meds twice per day. But we have a couple of weeks with them so it will all work out. 

He's a party

 Ash is having a good time. We think he goes back to the shelter on Friday. The girls may be happy to see him go. Chanel has been caught grooming him,but his favorite game is jumping on the back of the closest cat. 

Mom was busy this weekend and interesting enough he was kind of clingy when she got home after being gone for several hours. 

He's a good boy though probably could use another active young cat in his forever home.

He's clearly living a tough life. Haha

The new guy

 The shelter asked mom if we could take a single kitten for a couple of weeks. He's had a cold and they want to give him a chance to really get over it.

Since he is by himself, mom put him in the foster room the first night. And he was BORED. So, knowing he's been on meds for several days and it should be fine, mom let him out.

Plus let's be honest - we don't like kittens enough to let him get that close.

Meet Ash. 9 week old gray tabby with white toys. He's very sweet once he wears himself out.
