Sally is going very well. She was whiny about being locked up last night. Mom let her and Doc out this morning and pretty soon here come the other kittens. Mom gave up and just moved the gate. Now it is a couple of hours later and everyone has picked a separate spot and passed out.
Mom ran errands this morning and now has to run more this afternoon. See, Grandma and Grandpa had to take a tree out of their backyard (you can read about it and see a picture slide show here - it is pretty interesting). And apparent the kid has decided she doesn't want to help, so she called mom and asked if they could do something this afternoon. :)

FREEEDDDOOOMMMM!!!! no more gate!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap that tree was huge! And I see why your Mom gets stopped all the time in airports. She's CLEARLY very suspicious...
ReplyDeleteWell heck, I'd rather huggle kittens than work on some ol' tree too!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a shame that the tree had to come down, but the risk of damage and injury was just too high. The kid is obviously much happier hugging kitties. :D
ReplyDeleteCan't blame that child for wanting to hug the kitties. What better is there to do. We are so glad that Sally is doing all right. Hope all of you have a great week end.
ReplyDeleteI haven't gone to see about the tree yet but I'm on my way. Just saying Hi first. xox
ReplyDeletePoor tree. It's sad that so many old trees are having to be cut down...
ReplyDeleteSo cute with the kitten. :)
ReplyDeleteI bet the kitties like the cuddles too!
ReplyDeleteWe loved it when our gate came down.
ReplyDeleteAw, big squeeee!
ReplyDeleteKitten cuddling at its best! YAY!
ReplyDeleteFreedom... Woohoo!!!
You have done such a wonderful job with these kitties. Thank you.
Such sweet photo!
ReplyDeleteLove the faces:) Hope no one abuses their freedom!
ReplyDeleteHa ROO! Party time, kit-cats!!!
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
If the Grand's can leave it be, that oak might well restart from the stump. That happened here from a old (60+) elm tree close to our house.
ReplyDeletePurrrrrss to Sally, and concats to the other kittehs for getting the gate down.
Hooray for no more gate!
ReplyDeleteTell you mom we said, "Dang, that tree was HUGE!"
Hugs!
