a logic problem....

Mom says she had to take a class called symbolic logic in college....and that if it weren't for a friend in the class, probably would have had to take it more than once. MOL

Anyhow, this one sounds like something she would have had in class.....
We currently have 5 fosters. The shelter has space for 3 of them to come back. We need to figure out who to send....

Greta: she can't go. While mom says she isn't sick, she is "supposed" to be on meds until 8/31.

Bat, Daffy & Mohawk are all fine.

Gizmo has a little bit of eye goobers. Mom has noticed but doesn't think it is worth saying something. She has treated it with terramycin and it really isn't that bad. But....there it the potential for him to go back and someone make a big deal about it.

So, it would seem that Greta and Gizmo stay and everyone else goes back.

But.....mom would prefer that either Bat or Mohawk stay with Greta since she is more comfortable with those two (mom finds them curled up next to each other at night).

Plus then we have to figure out who is rooming together since there is a cage for 2 kittens and the other one will go in with a group of 3 other kittens.....

What to do, what to do????? Suggestions welcome....

  2. I can't figure that out. This brain stopped working many years ago. Put there names down on a piece of paper with numbers and then do the Random pick on the internet. Guess you would have to do it twice. Wishing you a great day.

  3. No one ever said our mom was good at logic puzzles. We have no idea. We say go with your gut feeling and never mind logic.

  4. Wait until another cage opens up and then you can send them all together.

  5. Cynthia - waiting isn't an option unfortunately....and mom doesn't have much room to make suggestions with this group...

  6. You are an angel. MY mom would be dithering forever over it and wind up being one of those hoarders because she loves everyone.

  7. That is a conundrom fur sure. Couldn't you just send two and keep the others? If not, then I think you should just trust whatever your instinct is telling you to do, because it is always right.

  8. Oh what a dilemma! Oh me and Charlie truly don't know. We wish for Bat and Mohawk to stay with Greta! We just know in our hearts that whatever you decide will be the right one! Good luck and lots of hugs and purrs! Take care

  9. Do you HAVE to give THREE of them back? 'Cause it sounds like Daffy and either Mohawk or Bat could go with no problem. So if you only sent off two, would that be okay?

  12. When logic fails, you must go with the heart! Send two to the shelter and keep three until they are all ready to go together. Kitties that feel safe and secure are better adjusted and thus more ready for adoption.

  15. I would probably send two this week, given the circumstances and wait until next week to add another one (or more) to the mix.
