In need of purrs....

The rescue that we help out has had a tragedy.....one of the foster family's house caught fire. At least a dozen foster cats died in the fire. Others have been trapped and still others are missing. 9 are currently at the vet being treated for smoke inhalation. We don't know about the family.....

Please be thinking about the rescue and this family.......You can read more about it on their facebook page.

A lot of our foster are from there: Mist and her kittens, Cleo and her kittens were taken in after they came here from Chrystal's house, Bourbon and his siblings......  it is a long list.

wish they could all have this kind of happy ending

(the furries said the facebook link wasn't working right - it did for me, but I added a link to their website as well)

  2. Oh, no, no, no! What a terrible tragedy, Jeanne. No words can help, I know, but the boys are revving up their purr motors and I'm sending all the universal Light I can muster.

  6. This is such a terrible tragedy. We are so glad some of the kitties were saved, and we pray that those missing will be found alive. It sounds like way too many kitties in one place to us. More like hoarding that fostering. We don't want to be critical because we are always glad when individuals are willing to take care of kitties until they find their forever home. 24. Oh no, that's my worst nightmare. I had smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed and remotely monitored because I'm TERRIFIED of something like this happening when I'm not home. I feel so, so horrible for them... what a horrific tragedy.
