Coral

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry you got sick
I'm sorry we couldn't fix it.
I'm sorry you only had just over 6 months here.
I'm sorry that the only way to stop
your pain was to let you go.
But I will never be sorry for how much
I loved you and for making you
part of this family.
Fly free angel
4/10/14 to 10/18/14

**the crew here: there is no test, but every clinical sign pointed to Coral having FIP. And there is no cure....there was just buying time and it wasn't going to be quality time. So mom did the best she could and helped her over the Bridge. We are going to take a small break from blogging....mom's heart is broken and we have to find the pieces and glue them back together for her. Thanks for all your purrs and support during this....it means a lot to know that so many people care and loved Coral like we did.

  2. Jeanne, *I'm* sorry. I've not been commenting much on any blogs in some weeks now, but I've still been getting your posts in Feedly. I wish the outcome for Coral could have been recovery and good health, but we all know some things are not to be, no matter how unfair they are, how unfair life can be. But no one could have loved her more, or given her such care--she was blessed to have had that with you, and your love will not not be forgotten. Her spirit is free, is at peace, and my thoughts and "purrayers" are with you now. May you grieve as you need to, and may *you* find peace on the other side of this dark path.

    Universal Blessings.

  9. Sending strong vibrant purrs from The Crew that you can find all the pieces.

Coral was so very blessed in that she had love in her life, and someone to care for her and someone to take her to the vet and do what they could for her, and a warm place to lay her head at night. It is more than most kitties get and she was blessed for it. Just because her life was short, doesn't mean it wasn't full.

  59. Beyond the light of the silvery moon, beyond the stars, there lies a place that is full of happiness. There is no pain, no suffering, no tears and best of all no goodbyes. The old are young again free from the earthly bonds that held them. As they run, dance and sing, they look down at their loved ones. As they see them cry, they guard over them watch and love them. It may seem like they have gone far far away, but this place is alive and well within the walls of your own heart.

  61. Watch...listen...inthe middle of the night. Coral will return. Just last night, I felt very soft kitty footprints heading toward the head of my bed...then such soft purring. I don't know if it was my Pirate (19) I lost in July, or Smudgy, my friends cat that I babysat for we lost last week. But someone came to comfort me...and I smiled. :) It's not the first time one has come back to comfort me...and I'm sure it won't be the last. Watch...listen...feel. And love again.

  77. Sending purrs and prayers during this difficult and heartbreaking time... a time when a young kitten should be learning about life, not going home.

I lost a sweet kitten to FIP. She wanted so much to live. The emergency clinic kept her body and that made it even more heartbreaking. Andi was around 4 months old. She showed up at my brother's house emaciated. I tried to save her to no avail. Only knew her for a week, but she taught me a lifetime.

Run free sweet Coral in heavenly fields of flowers and light...

  84. .... and St Francis said, "Come little one, there is nothing more I can do for
    you here, don't be afraid"

......and St Francis gently picked up Coral and carried her into the kingdom of heaven.....when the little cat looked around, she realized everything St Francis told her on her journey was true....heaven was beautiful beyond what mere words could express.....

...... and Coral saw there was no pain, suffering, fear, sickness, hunger, thirst or sorrow, until she looked down and saw the family and friends she had left behind. ......and for a very brief moment, the little cat too, was filled with sorrow.

Then St Francis bestowed Coral with a set of gossamer wings and said, "Use them to return to your family, when their need is the greatest, as nothing can separate your bond of love. Hold each other in your hearts and your memories, until you are reunited again at heaven's door."

and when the little cat tried on her wings, she knew nothing was impossible...... when there is....love

God's speed Coral with love from Boomer, Dai$y, Tuna.....and Dude and Sauce too...you may have been here only a very short time, but your memory will live on for a long time to come. ♥♥♥♥♥
