Today's post is a little strange. See, we have the cat, we are just a little short on details.
A few weeks ago we heard mention of a cat around that we hadn't seen. And then mom got a look at her, but was leaving on vacation. The neighbors across from us are young but were willing to leave their garage door open a little to let this girl inside. Well, over the weekend the neighbors (who are renting and can't take the cat) said the calico was friendly. Mom got home last night from work and sat outside. She spoke to the cat but the girl was a little scared and wouldn't come out. So mom set the trap with food and came inside to feed everyone here.
About an hour lady one of the neighbor ladies came over and lo and behold - one chatty calico in a trap.
At this point we would post a picture, but mom's camera won't cooperate with her computer at work, so use your imagination.....
Mom got the girl set up in a crate in the entry way to the condo and will take her to the spay clinic tomorrow when she takes Amber and Pearl to be spayed. Mom is calling her Mae West (she has some curves). Mae is friendly, wants attention and appears healthy. We will have more details once she is tested, vaccinated, spayed (if necessary) and checked over.
