Geez.....can we stop the Mondays already....
We do want to take a minute to send purrs to the CB today. Over the weekend there were several families that had kitties run for the Bridge or get sick. We are a community - and even though we may never meet face to face, our hearts break a little every time an animal runs for the Bridge or gets sick.
So, another weekend, another transport. A momma dog was found and taken to a shelter. A rescue in Wisconsin agreed to pull her and she was due to travel a couple of weeks ago. Only she decided to have the pups right before the transport (which mom says is MUCH better than having them on the transport). MOL Anyhow, Regan is an overacheiver and had 10 pups!!! She is a great mom and will be in foster care raising her kids. The pups are adorable....and we suspect dad was a rottie.
Mom jokes that she can now tell people she has transported 11 dogs in her car. :)
And.....
Mitts went home on Sunday. Mom met a nice man last month at the Petco adoption weekend. He caught sight of Logan the bottle baby that mom was feeding and came over to talk. He and his partner had recently lost their cat of 16 years and were debating if they were ready or not.
Well, mom got a text about an application and when she went over, the man came back in the store and mom recognized him. He wanted to get everything set up so they agreed to send her home Sunday.
