Cookie seems to be doing well at Petco. She has decided one of the associates is her favorite person and talks to her when she is working. :) Although she will not be allowed to make friends with the other young girl up there - the staff (with mom's permission) tried introducing the girls and....well.... Cookie was bad. Everyone is fine (though damp as the staff at the store was throwing water on the girls to break them up) even though Cookie lost a toenail. We think she can probably live with other cats but will need lots of her own space and a VERY slow introduction.

The kittens seem to be enjoying having a little more space. Mom put the baby jail gate up in front of the bathroom with gives them a little more room to run around. They are eating well and getting bigger and having a blast playing with each other.
Mom is spending Sunday cleaning their room (again and again and again).....and she wants to try to get some video of them playing. All of them are very friendly with her - though Cheeto is winning the charm award for now. :) And we think this is the final count: Triscuit and Milano are the girls and the rest are boys. They seem to be having a good time. Mom was saying that she might let them have a little more freedom this weekend. Yikes.... :)

Chex - looking very pleased with himself
Milano (gray/white), Cheeto (buff/white) and Samoa (you can see he is smaller)
Triscuit (tiny girl)
Dorito
(mom thinks he and Chex may end up being fuzzier than the others)

ReplyDeleteHugs to sweet Cookie!! Take care

Oh, you know my heart melts seeing Triscuit. I always do fall for the runts or the sick ones. That's how Annie suckered me in, all scrawny and quiet, big eyes in a tiny face. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI need some kitten-cuddling time. :-)
I love the expression on Chex's face.
ReplyDeleteCheeto wins the charm award even though she's a complainer? That's unusual! They all are so precious. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeleteThey look like they need more squeezing. Are you squeezing them enough?
ReplyDeleteIt should be kitten kaos then....
ReplyDeleteThis is great fun seeing the more than cute kittens and can watch from afar. I can't decide which one is my favorite. I think Triscuit is very cute. Take care.

OMC! Water and a lost toenail? Sounds serious...
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Cookie's toenail! We hope things work out for her, and she finds a forever home soon.
ReplyDeleteAs for those babies, they are adorable. The FACE on Chex! Squeeeeee!
Those kittens are so cute!
ReplyDeleteWe're not sure what Chex got away with, but he is really pleased with himself, whatever it was.
ReplyDeleteSuch cuties but we bet each of those little snack kitties is soon going to be full of mischief...they just have that look!
ReplyDeleteThat is one handsome bunch of kittens!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
There's one in every flavor!
ReplyDeleteChex! What a face! Great shot :)
ReplyDeleteNO, Mommy. You may NOT bring Chex home. You're already fostering a kitty from OUR shelter. NO MORE.
