well crap....

The vet just called and Mowgli ran for the Bridge. We know it happens with the little ones, but man this year has been bad.....  They couldn't get his temperature and glucose to level out.

Baloo is now alone and that is a whole other issue as well.....  And mom has to tell Lisa as well.....

    Crap is right. Poor little one. No, our mom couldn't do this either, so kudos to you for taking on the often challenging, difficult, and heart-breaking work of fostering.

    I'm sorry about Mowgli. This is one of the hard parts of rescue work, especially kittens, because so many things can go wrong and not all of them thrive... but that still never makes it any easier.

    Hugs! I'm so sorry. I know it can't be easy, but it sounds to me like you did everything right. And it probably didn't have anything to do with the bath at all. If it did, the other one would have likely been in the same boat.
