Finally Friday.....

What a wild week....we don't want to do this again for a while.

Maestro did get some extra treats - but no birds. That would require him to get off the arm of the chair and exert himself, something he is very opposed to. MOL

Trevor's surgery went well and the v-e-t said he looks great after our scare last week. And Mac got his booster vaccination this morning....

So far the gray kits at our house are holding their own....Mom is a little concerned about Cloud. He is pretty skinny and mom hasn't seen him eating. She was syringe feeding him a/d last night. And then had a different thought this morning. So she grabbed a packet of whiskas (HEY!!! share some please) and was going to try that. She opened the door and the boys took off down the hall. Cloud can't be feeling too bad if he can run that fast. She tried the a/d again. No luck. So she tried the Whiskas....and wouldn't you know, everyone ate some. sigh.....spend all that money on nutro and science diet and they like the cheap stuff.

(hey Rumbles - where would we find slippery elm powder - mom is willing to try that)

Mom is taking tomorrow off to do some computer work for Chrystal of Cats with your Coffee.....and watch some college football. (hopefully our Spartans won't play the same embarassing game they did last week)

Have a great weekend!!!

  1. Any health/nutrition store should have slipper elm. Make sure you get it in gel capsules that break apart, though--not hard pills! Unless you have a mortar and pestle. :-)

  2. Those are great pictures. We hope everyone gets very healthy quickly.

  3. :) If all else fails Whiskas and Fancy Feast.

  4. Mom said she feels that pain about the teams as hers did badly too last Saturday.

I hope you baby Cloud gets all better and what a relief when you find something they will eat. Mom goes thru this with me too.
Thank you so much for coming to see me while I was in the hospital. xoxoxox

  5. Isn't that always the way, you spend gobs of money on fancy food and they want the cheap stuff. That is the way it is around here. But we mainly get the cheap stuff since we don't have much choice. Take care. Email on the way to Mom.

  6. Cats are as finicky as kids! You give a child a plate of french fries, and he's happy. You try and give him a gourmet dish of sushi and he turns his nose up. It's the same with most kitties...though I think your average cat would be perfectly happy to steal a plate of sushi from a kid. :D Hope little Cloud feels better soon!

  7. Sounds like all is fairly calm and now ready for a great weekend!

  8. I buy Charlie all the posh food going and he only wants his cheopo Felix! LOL!!!

Awwww fingers crossed for all your kitties!! Have a great weekend! Take care

  9. Yay, let's hear it for the cheap stuff, seems to work every time! It is scary when the weight starts coming off, though. Hope everything will be okay..

    Have a good weekend, furriends!

  10. I never bring home science diet or iams for kittens because it never gets eaten. (that and it is pretty low quality food - especially for the price and with the reputation they both have)

I ordered slippery elm bark from You can get $5 off your first order with the code BUY123 (they always have a slew of "free" products there too - you have to pay shipping but if you are already ordering they really are free)

  11. LOL about everyone liking the cheap food ... figures, huh? Sounds like things are going pretty okay there. :)

    Have a great weekend!

  12. Rumblemum got a GIANT bag from one of the health food stores, it wasn't expensive. She says it helps to put it in tuna or something really strong smelling - we've got a really good tuna catfood that she slips it into.

    PURRing for you guys!

  13. Whew. Mommy says thinking about your week helps put hers in perspective...purrs that the babes keep eating, el cheapo brand or not!

  14. I am very concerned about gray kittens...I hope Cloud eats a lot and gain some more weight.

  15. sounds like a great weekend!
