Official introductions

First, an update: Junior finally got his microchip last night. It took two tries and he now has a funny shaped shaved spot on the back of his neck (the vet said she was going to try to make it look nice and the tech was "just chip him already!" MOL). Oh, and he may never trust mom again.  sigh.....

THANKS to Judi and the crew at SAS for the name suggestions. Everyone seems to be doing well. Dr Taylor had to check out the cute last night and even she said Swizzle looks like she needs a sandwich. She is getting fed kitten food and Fancy Feast but not eating a ton. The kittens look really good though, so mom isn't too worried. A couple had some eyeball goop this am that mom is going to keep her attention on for right now. Anyhow, here is the official crew:

Swizzle & the kids

Midori & Mimosa (girls)

Malibu & Mimosa (girls)

Martini (male mitten paw)

Mojito & Martini (boys)

Could resist the last shot.....they love to sleep curled up around each other or of couse on top of each other. If you look close, you can see Midori's toothless state. :)

    Oh, the mom is swooning! What a kitten fix these wonderful pics are!

    P.S. It's a good thing the mom doesn't know anyone in our city who fosters. She's avoiding the shelter web sites, 'cause she says no to more adoptions, isn't ready to go down that road again and might never be (after Annie). We're not sure we'd want another sibling, either! But it would be oh-so tempting for the mom if she knew someone here who was fostering. LOL.

    Junior doesn't seem like he is scarred for life (thank dog fur grows quickly)! Swizzle and kitties are so darn cute and the names are perfect! I am glad you give them names because nothing is sadder than beautiful rescues that just get numbers or the gemeric "kitty."

    I'm glad they are all doing well. I LOVE the names. Since we're in different states, don't be too surprised if you don't see a litter of kittens on our blog soon with those names as I may borrow (ahem, steal) the names from you! Very imaginative.
