Mom was relaxing on Sunday and smelled something from the foster room. Turns out Chanel was in there and used the litter box - with no litter in it. Mom cleaned up and then shut the door to the foster room.
Chanel then parked herself in the Sleepypod and stayed there for a while. Mom was a little concerned and was contemplating a vet visit for the girl. Well mom was putting the Kindle back in the kitchen after reading and Chanel stretched and wandered by the door. So...it seems she may have just been pouting about the closed door (she is fine this morning too).
However, it got a little funnier. Mom wanted to check later that night. Of course the interior of the Sleepypod is black. Mom stuck her hand in and scared the daylights out of a different tuxedo:

Glad Chanel is all right. Cats sure do like to mess with the humans. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteSince Lexy and I are totally different cats, we can't trick our mom at all. MOL Glad Chanel is ok.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in high school, there was a set of twin boys; not identical, but pretty close! They used to switch classes with each other once in awhile, and the rest of us spent the class trying not to giggle! This post reminds me of those days...
ReplyDeleteHA! We try to pull the ol' "switch-o, change-o" on our mom == and it works sometimes!
ReplyDeleteCam and Mags
Having so many cats there, there must always be someone who blends into the background. One has to be careful, I know...
ReplyDeleteGotta keep the mom bean guessing! Glad Chanel is feeling okay.
ReplyDeleteMOL! Us cats have got to keep the humans guessing. :)
ReplyDeleteMOL! That's funny! Way to keep Mom guessing.
ReplyDeleteI think they confuse you on purpose!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. Sticking hands in places one can't entirely see can be dangerous. The lady I rent from was replacing the carpet and we had to empty the rooms of everything to get that done. I reached under the bed where my stuffed animals are - felt fur - and pulled ... oops. It was Ellie's tail and she was hiding because of the strangers in our house. On the other hand, I've never seen her move so fast before.
ReplyDeleteps - you have a Chanel and a "fake" Chanel! What is it about that litter of kittens that every cat wants to copy?
