Well, the momma cat is an unhappy girl. Granted, it hasn't been that long, but she uses some serious HBO words when mom gets to close. And the other day mom was handling the kittens and by the third one that momm cat made it VERY clear that mom should leave the room. Oh my.....
Yesterday morning they were nursing when mom went into the bathroom to get ready for work. The orange boy was upside down and the little girl was facing the wrong way...and getting kicked in the head for her trouble.
Cutie number one - she has lighter toes, is smaller and has cream on her face
orangey goodness...pretty sure he is a boy and the biggest of the three
and our overacheiver - her eyes were open Monday morning
this cannot be good - a tortie with ambitions
three kitten pile up

Uh-oh, did you say a "tortie with ambitions"? You may have a BINGA on your hands!
ReplyDeletenot for long - 8 weeks and she finds a new home MOL
DeleteThat tortie is going to be a handful, for sure. We hope the mom cat comes around soon.
ReplyDeleteIs seems Ms Momma Cat is going to take some action if your Mum gets too close to her.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
They are JUST. SO. CUUUUTE. (Boy, I NEED some itty bitties, SOON!)
ReplyDeleteI love how mamma cats go from HBO words to "they are all yours lady" at some point. Those kittens are so SQUEEEEEEEEE! I agree with Sparkle...I bet you have a Binga in training....that would be PAWSOME!
ReplyDeleteHBO werds !!!! her soundz like R kinda gal...we could use her help round de BURD feedin stayshun !!!
ReplyDeletekittens!!! it is that season, soon they will be everywhere. sigh. thanks for taking good care of them, enjoy the cutes! (and keep sharing the cutes with us!)
ReplyDeletePoor mamma just wants to protect her babies. Her whole life is turned upside down and she hasn't realized yet that it's for the much, much better
ReplyDeleteThe momma cat will probably feel differently when the kittens are weaned and she is spayed. Given some time to adjust, she may turn out to be happy indoors--it is just a stressful time for her right now, with young kittens!
ReplyDeleteI can totally understand the mama cat guarding her babies.
ReplyDeleteCammie!
Ohhhh. Little itty bitty babies we get to watch grow up!
ReplyDeletecurse you and your infection of kitten fever.. grumble grumble..
ReplyDeleteand with such cute kittens too..
Too cute! Hope momma gets over her crankiness soon.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are squee worthy.
ReplyDeleteThese are three amazing little ones! I bet the tortie ends up being really affectionate.
