Finally Friday.....

Mom says for only being 4 days long, it has been a long week.  :)

She stopped to see the kittens last night. Miss Gigi is staying at the shelter and should be on the adoption floor today. Mom says she looked pretty hung over last night but was looking for love. And....Geoff (our meezer boy) was adopted!!

We don't have many plans for the weekend. Mom will go over to grandma and grandpa's house on Monday to watch the Spartans play football in their bowl game, so we don't have to worry about that (grandpa bought himself a new big flat screen tv, so mom says she is getting spoiled watching sports over there).

We will be taking it said something about some fireworks on Saturday night - not sure why the new year has to be brought in with explosives. We are already making plans to hide under the covers!!!

We hope you have a safe and fun New Years!!

  1. Have a great New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Happy 2012!

  2. Brilliant news about sweet Geoff! Aawww here's hoping for more adoptions!!

Awwww take care with the fireworks! Charlie will definitely be hiding in the wardrobe when they start popping!

  3. WE are really hoping we don't have any explosives around here. We hate loud noises. We sure wish all of you one really Happy and Healthy New Year for everyone. Take care

  4. Happy New Year to you too! Yes, short weeks are too long and long weekends are too short!

  5. Yea for Geoff!!! That's really great news - and that was fast!!!
    Be safe during those fireworks!
    PLay bows,

  6. We hope you have a peaceful New Years Eve and no fireworks.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  7. Great news about Geoff - paws crossed for all of the other little and big kitties needing furever homes.

  8. Have a really happy new year from us - FAZ and Birks

  9. Happy New Year! They shoot off fireworks here, and it is right across the street from us. My cats are also already making plans for a hiding spot. =^..^=

  10. We don't much like fireworks around here either.
    Happy New Year!

  11. We're under the covers, too, when the boom-booms go off. I don't like fireworks like that. Give me the kind that break the monotony of a cat's life and I'm all ears!

    Tom, Mittens & mom Julie

  12. Yay for Geoff! Always good news when a kitty gets a new home!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  13. Good Luck Geoff!

We get fireworks here, too...we'll be UTB if you want us.

  14. Mom's week was only ONE day long and she thought that was too much!

Good luck with the 'splosives. Humans are SO ker-azy abouts things that go BANG! I don't get it.

    Happy New Year!

    Wiggles & Wags,

  15. Great news about Geoff and we hope Gigi finds her new furrever person soon, too. Happy New Year!

    Laura and Taffy

  16. We wish you all a New Year filled with bounty and hearts blessed with all the love they can hold. May you successfully foster many more kitties and help them find their ways to loving safe forever homes.

  17. We second what Carolyn said in your last post's comments - here's to a 2012 that's on the happy, pawsitive side of random!

Wishing you a heartfelt warm & wonderful 2012.

We love to hear from you.....
