smarty pants

Chanel has NO idea what is going on
and is sure she has NOTHING to do with it either

Some kitten figured out where mom is hiding the toys. She also pulled a blanket out of one of the larger orange bins too. It may be time to get the doors back up to block off the foster room. MOL

In other news, a friend of ours came over last week to fix our wireless connection (yes - it WAS in fact user error and mom hooked it up wrong). She brought over a toy that connects to an app on a phone and runs around the room (it is called a Sphero mini). Mom wasn't sure what Goldfish was going to do with a strange person in the house.

Turns out, Goldfish's curiosity is stronger than her fear of weird things. The ball started moving over the floor and Goldfish stuck her head out of the bedroom....then snuck down the hall....then ran after the toy and had a blast. She even braved up a little and snuck up on our friend when she was sitting on the floor with her back turned. Mom and her friend kept talking the entire time and while Goldfish would get startled, she could be coaxed back out. Mom was very proud of her and treats were had by all.

  1. Good for you Goldfish. Progress is being made. Toys are the best for helping the cats to gain trust. You all sure have a really good day.
