Random Fridays

Mom made the surgery appointments for the kittens on May 18th and Delphi on the 28th. Of course, she went to put it on her calendar at the house and was all "the 28th is Memorial Day" so she left a message with the clinic to verify. Seems they will be open that day - but at least since mom has the day off she doesn't have to get up to get Delphi there by 7:30am.

This has not turned into one of mom's better weeks....a neighbor knocked and there was water leaking into their garage from our condo. VERY long story short, the plumbing is fixed after 2 days and the water is turned back on, but since the restoration people (they found mold) took down a tub wall, no working shower or tub. Back and forth with insurance and the restoration people and blah blah blah.... Thankfully mom has a good friend who is letting her use her shower.

Summer has arrived (apparently mother nature decided to skip spring this year). Should be nice on Saturday, so mom is making plan to get Chanel out to a local Starbucks.

Delphi and the kittens are doing well and the kittens are VERY active. Mom was impressed too - while all the demo banging was going on, the kittens were playing like it was no big deal.

  2. What a bother not to be able to shower or bathe. At least the water is running again.

  5. Wow, I'm surprised they're open on Memorial Day. But that's nice since you'll have the day off. Plumbing issues are no fun! Hope you're able to get everything taken care of quickly.

  9. Arrrghh, home ownership can be a real challenge. Hopefully the insurance company quits being a pain in the asterisk and the tub/shower are in working order again soon.

The kittens are sooo darn cute! Delphi is a good mom, hopefully she finds a forever home soon.
