the shelves

Mom thought she was being smart. She didn't want Millie moving the kittens to the bottom shelf of the cabinet, so she put a small carrier and a bunch of towels in there. You can see how well THAT is working....

Fine...whatever....so long as they aren't big enough to get into trouble and get up on the second shelf.

Ummmm....about that....

And getting down is even harder:

We think if mom had been REALLY smart, she would have bought a cabinet with doors! MOL

  1. Oh goodness, that is just too cute. When in doubt, just fall down. They are getting so cute and active now. Bet that is fun watching them. You all have a great day.

  2. They ARE cats after all ;) These kittens seem especially rambunctious. Poor Versace hasn't quite gotten the jump thing down. When Bear had his last dental and extraction of his molar - he was really out of it between the anesthesia and the pain meds. I didn't want him climbing his cat tree ... so I had the brilliant idea of putting boxes and his carrier on the top perch. When I'd done that - I looked at it and it occurred to me that with his determination, it was actually MORE dangerous than leaving the perch open. My little daredevil would try to jumps up ON TOP of the obstacles. Needless to say, I moved them ;)

  3. The best thing about kittens, is that they usually bounce when landing! Added bonus: land on a sibling's head...LOL!

  4. From my experience, doors will not stop a determined cat! My cat, Henry, opens several cabinet doors every day. Not exactly sure what he is looking for other than a cozy place to hang out.

  8. Ah yes, they are more bouncy than anything at that age, so sometimes getting down is just... a quick fall!
