weekend update

Mom spent Saturday working around here: laundry, the sucky monster, dishes, etc....and running errands.

One of those errands was - a new flashy box. For Cods sake...we are so screwed. Mom said the old one wasn't working like it should so she took some advise from some other bloggers and went to a local camera shop and tried out a few. She ended up with a Nikon S9700. She is still figuring out the thing, but did say the one thing was a much faster shutter speed. Great....

  1. Your lives will never be the same...especially after she figures out the "sport" setting!

    *sigh*

  3. Yep, you're screwed indeed.

BTW, the best camera our human has for sports mode is her old Canon PowerShot S3 IS -- about 8 or so years old now. It creaks and groans, but boy, you can continuously shoot with it, unlike the supposed action modes of her other Canons or her Fuji HS10.

  7. Actually, the better the camera, the less annoying it can be for photographs - the humans can take more good ones faster, and they finish sooner!

  13. I hate when mom decides to "play" with her camera. Why can't she aim the thing at herself?
