THANK YOU for all the kind comments about Maestro and the lovely graphic that Ann made for us. It has been a weird few days....we keep expecting to see him or hear him. 19 years is a long time to have such a wonderful companion and he will forever be missed. Knowing that you are with us on this journey means so much to us.
Ash, Coral and Pearl, don't you just look the sweetest!
ReplyDeletePurring fur you about Maestro. My longest lived kitty passed away in my arms several years ago. He was almost 20 years old. When a kitty stays that long as our bestest friend, we think they are going to lives furever. Me thinks that Maestro has a very important job now. waiting fur you at the Rainbow Bridge. - Katie Kat.
It's not an easy journey. When they find their way into our hearts, losing them is like losing a part of ourselves. I guess we do lose a chunk of our heart. I am so glad that you had nearly 20 years together, that is a blessing. It will in time, as I know you know, bring you great comfort. Not know because it is all too fresh and the pain too raw. It's hard but Maestro is still there with you, only you can't see him with your eyes any longer, only with your heart. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteWe understand how hard it is. Truly.

Even when one of us is just at the vet's for a day, the energy of the house feels different. It takes lots of adjustment when a kitty leaves.
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry you are going through such a difficult time...
ReplyDeleteYou are in our thoughts and prayers
